Babak Shahbazi has called the North Shore home since 1990, developing a deep
understanding of the area and its real estate market. This local expertise has
been a cornerstone of his success as a REALTOR®. Since obtaining his real
estate license in 2003, Babak has built a reputation for prioritizing his
clients and being a trusted professional.
A devoted family man, Babak is married with three children (two daughters
and a son).
He is also highly active in his community, dedicating much of his time to
various causes. In 1991, he founded a Shaheen Footbal Club and currently manages four
teams in the Vancouver Metro Soccer League. Additionally, Babak supports
several charitable organizations, including the Rotary Club of North Vancouver,
Canadian Iranian Foundation and the BC Newcomers Association. Through his
soccer involvement, he has helped raise funds for Lions Gate Hospital,
Westminster House Society, and the Razi Network for Disabled Children, among
others.
Before moving to Canada, Babak lived in Iran, Germany and the United States, where he went to school and played semi-professional soccer. His career also spans roles as a software developer and network support manager with companies such as Western Digital, ISMBC (a TELUS and IBM joint venture), ResponseTek, and Sysco Technology. He holds a Software Engineering degree from Simon Fraser University and also studied at Santa Monica College and Capilano University.
